Killearn CC may be closing permanently; WTXL-TV reported in November of 2014 that owner Barton Tuck is working to obtain approval to turn a portion of the property into a conservation area, while developing the rest of the land into a residential development.

The site of 21 PGA Tour and four LPGA Tour tournaments, Killearn Country Club is a 27-hole layout designed by Bill Amick.
