I have played Hillside a few times now and it is just simply magical.Played on Sunday in sunny & warm conditions. A good, solid front 9 holes with a simply beautiful par 3 7th. The back 9 then is just incredible and like what has been said so many times by many Professionals is arguably the best back 9 holes in the UK. I would agree that it could host an Open Championship but they just don't have the room to put up grandstands & a tented village. The clubhouse is great, with a conteporary feel and a freindly Pro shop. Put this course on your MUST PLAT list if you haven't experienced Hillside yet. It simply a stunning place to play golf

I play there every year and it has to be for me one of the best back nines in the world. I always look forward to playing sat Hillside.

One of the best venues and golf courses ive played in the World. Old course, which has kept its old values. Etiquette is well respected, which i like. Great course, tough opening hole with a real variety of golf holes. If a member of Hillside is off 10 hcp, id say he/she would be off around 6 at any other venue. Its a must visit.
