The club itself formed in 2000, while the course was designed by Scottish architect Graeme J. Webster and opened in 2006. Egersund GK is a blend of heathland and dunes flavors, but the surrounding terrain is rather rocky, so missed fairways can be somewhat punishing! Also of note here is the "Walk of Shame," a two-hole stretch in which the 4th green is built along the side of a lake, followed by an arduous climb to #5.

The 9-hole walking rate is NOK 200, while the 18-hole rate is NOK 300. Juniors are welcome at 50% off. Hole measurements are in meters.
