The noted Canadian architect Stanley Thompson did the original design of this course in 1928, although the design plans were lost shortly thereafter. The course opened with 18 holes and sand greens in 1931; the greens were seeded in 1985. Then in 2003, Winnipeg-based architect David Grant designed well-regarded East nine. The toughest hole here might be the North's 240-yard 4th, requiring a 180-yard carry off the tee. An 11,000 square-foot clubhouse anchors the site, which is located northeast of the city, north of Highway 46.

The standard walking rate is C$44; carts are C$35. Senior, youth, 9-hole, and sliding twilight rates are offered, as are season passes.
