Ironically, this attractive course came about as the result of a forest fire in 1940. When thousands of spruce and poplar trees re-grew, they had an unusual red tint to them — and the Tsuu T'ina Nation elders called the area "Redwood Yard." In 1972, the Tsuu T'ina retained architects Bill Newis and Stan Leonard to design a high-end 18-hole course on the property, now known as Redwood Meadows.

Portions of the course were damaged in the devastating floods of the Bow and Elbow rivers in June of 2013.

The standard walking rate is C$95; carts are C$33.33. Twilight and junior discounts are available, as are memberships and several categories of season passes.
