Lakeview Golf Club is located in the south-east corner of Mississauga (see map). The course was opened in 1896 and designed by Herbert Strong. The 1923 and 1934 Canadian Open tournaments were played here, so the course is of both historic and aesthetic value. Lakeview Golf Club "continues to offer a challenging round for golfers of all levels. Plenty of trees, sloping fairways and doglegs demands accuracy of the tee, while tricky undulating greens require a deft touch with the putter" (Toronto.com). In 2005, Lakeview Golf Course was selected as the "best value" by the Score Golf Golfer's Choice Awards.

Lakeview is a very good municipal course for the money. Pace of play is good and is well marshalled. The club house and other staff are friendly and helpful. Fun place to golf!
